However, the bathroom fan was excessively loud, really disturbing my peace at night. The outdated decor was charming but also a bit worn in some areas, like the bathtub showing signs of peeling. I appreciated the easy access to the boardwalk and the lovely lakeside view, which provided a great spot for evening strolls. One downside was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear others easily in the hallway, which interrupted my sleep. Overall, solid stay but some noise issues could be addressed for a more restful experience.

We played Indian Lake Golf Course and explored some local restaurants. The manager was super helpful, finding us a good discount. The breakfast was solid too! Worth considering if you're traveling in the area.

Checked in and the room had a strong nasty smell. Had to open the window and turned on the fan. It got better after a bit, but I was still grossed out by how dirty the carpet was, my feet ended up filthy! At least breakfast was good with hot eggs and sausage. Just wish the room was cleaner.
